SHIFTING CURRENTS
In recent years we have become inseparable from weather and climate in a deeper sense then we could ever have imagined. The framework behind Shifting Currents is inspired by map and stories of the South West Pacific Ocean in which warming seas result in weakened currents and slow circulation causing a shift in dependable weather patterns.
Through this work I create a lever for perceiving a normally invisible phenomena. The hairnets is an attempt to disturb the binary of human and nonhuman evoking both outer and inner worlds as fragile and vulnerable
